Frequently asked questions
Can you remove a password I don't know?
No. Strong encryption cannot be bypassed and we don't attempt to crack passwords. You must know the password.
What if the PDF only restricts printing or copying?
Owner-password-only restrictions can usually be removed without a password when you are authorised to do so.
Is it legal?
Only unlock documents you own or have permission to modify.
